Why do I need to submit a deposit to activate my Sable card?

We offer a secured card with a credit limit against the amount of money you deposit into your account. For example, if you deposit $1,000, we save that money and give you a credit limit of $1,000. You can spend the same amount--by charging it to your Sable card. Why not just use a debit card? Because unlike a debit card, our secured card will build your credit history.

We will also launch unsecured credit soon, and increase your credit limit based on your responsible use of secured card (i.e., on-time payments).

How can I top-up my account from the United States?

If you are sending money from the United States you can send a direct deposit or a wire transfer.

Direct deposit (also called ACH) is usually free but slower. Wire transfers typically process within a day, but may cost more. Check with your bank to get the exact processing time and cost.

To issue a Direct deposit or wire transfer, go to your bank or online banking and provide the following information:

Routing number: e.g. 084106768
Account number: e.g. 1234567890

(check your own account and routing number in the App)

You might also need the following details to make the transfer:

Payee Name: Your Name
Bank name: EVOLVE BANK & TRUST

Your bank might also ask for recipient address - this is your own address in the United States. It is important to provide the same address as you did when you signed up for your Sable Account.

How to fund your account from outside the United States?

There are two options for you to fund your account:
1) Transferwise and
2) International wire transfer.
If you have access to Transferwise, we recommend you use that, as it is almost always significantly cheaper, than an international wire.

Account number: you can see this in the app

Transferwise will also ask for recipient address - this is your own address in the U.S.

2. How to fund the account using International wire transfer?

ATTENTION: We accept international wire transfer only from specific countries. Check if your country is on our list of approved countries for incoming wires.

You need to enter correspondent bank details:

Which countries can I receive an international wire transfer from?

We are working on enabling international wire transfers from every country, but getting approvals for all takes time. In the meantime you can use Transferwise. You can issue transfers from these countries already:
